Chisora has, what, a dozen losses? He’s a journeyman/gatekeeper. He’s fought a lot of top guys and lost to them. He’s I think 8-7 in his last 15 and you haven’t heard of some of those eight he beat. Heck their own families haven’t heard of them.

Well he did beat Chisora recently not great but then you ranked Helenius as top 10 for beating Kownacki, lol.

Where's the consistency? I'd rank Chisora over Kownacki so shouldn't Parker at least rank above Helenius? Now you might say Kownacki wasn't a hype job but then why did he lose to Demirezen and does Kownacki have a win as good as Chisora's win over Pulev.

I don’t rate Chisora over Kownacki at the time Helenius beat him … Kownacki was on a nice roll. Chisora has been basically a .500 fighter over the last however-many years.

To me, a rating is a snapshot in time. I mean, Ali beat Ken Norton twice (some would dispute one or both decisions, kinda like Ruiz-Parker) but anyone would rate Norton over Ali at the time of the Spinks fight. Likewise Buster Douglas beat Mike Tyson but at some point after that fight anyone would rate Tyson higher given their trajectories … that win doesn’t mean a lifetime pass.

I didn’t rank Kownacki. But I would have before he lost to Helenius. I think Robert pretty much ruined Kownacki so yeah he lost another fight. With Chisora, to me you’re putting a lot of stock in a 2016 split decision over Pulev … he’s lost six more fights since then. I don’t think the Chisora of today is as good and I never thought much of Pulev anyway.

EDIT: Hey, if you rate Parker as a top 10 or top 5 guy off what he did in 2016, that’s your prerogative. I don’t.

He is a gate keeper, at best a fringe contender in his prime but now and for a long time definitely a gate keeper.

But you discredit Parker's win over Ruiz in a close fight but at the same time gloss over the fact Helenius should have lost to Chisora is a far less competitive fight that Parker/Ruiz.

And if were talking more recently I'd say Chisora's win over Pulev is more impressive than Helenius over Kownacki as Kownacki was never even gatekeeper level, barely beating Martin and losing to Demirezen.

There's no logical reason for ranking Helenius that high when he's lost to gate keeper or worse evel guys like Chisora, Duhaupas and Washington just because he beat a hype job who isn't even as good as current Chisora.

OK if rating is a snap shot in time why does Wilder rank so highly, he's not has a win since 2019. He should rank far lower if that's the case.

Also what has Otto Wallin done lately to deserve a top 10 ranking? His biggest claim to fame losing to Fury in 2019.

If you then say snap shot means a few years then explain Helenius' ranking again because he lost to Washington in 2019.

Again I see inconsistent reasoning for your rankings or at least some of them.

Ruiz win sketchy how? It was close on points but each of the rounds were clear and easily to score, I had Parker winning by 2 points.

    Takam - High Euro level.

Chisora - high Euro level with better record of wins than the so called top 10 Luis Ortiz.

Name 10 with a better record? Parker's record is superior to (according to Ring magazine top 10) Wilder, Ortiz, Sanchez, Hrgovic and Zhang.

Most likely will go back to fighting bums and will return for another shot at 34 years of age after Fury/AJ/Usyk are retired.

I dont think anyones rankings would stand up to scrutiny. You have to make certain judgements and cant always apply the same criteria to all fighters.

We all know how good Wilder is in terms of effectiveness. Yes his recent record is poor, but you arent going to rank him purely based on the results he has in the Fury trilogy alone. Meanwhile, with others where the level of opposition is a lower standard than Fury, such as Parker. You may decide to rank them based on their performances in the last 3-4 years.
