Realistically, what do you think the next move will be for JMM? Should he stay at 135 and get some more fights, or move up to 140?

    at 135...
Winner of Valero vs. Pitalua.... JMM vs. Valero in Texas would be a good fight.
Winner of Barrera vs. Khan... Barrera is the WBO mandatory, so if he wins... we could see a rematch.
Joan Guzman... undefeated fighter, with some name recognition.

    at 140...
Winner of Hatton vs. Pacquiao... this is the obvious choice in a perfect world.
Winner of Holt vs. Bradley ... winner would be a unified champ.
Juan Urango for the IBF belt.

Who do you see being his next fight, and how would he fare againt these fighters?

He'll be better off fighting at 135 ... those guys at 140 are beasty ... he'll be better off than Pacquiao at 140 or 147 ... he's facing a different evil ... Marquez should just stay put ... its more names at 135 .... more competition ... more money.

    He doesn't need Pacquiao --

JMM said that he's looking to move up and called out Mayweather. Assuming that Mayweather would be interested in fighting him :)-() I don't see Mayweather compromising his weight preference of 147 for JMM. I see this more less as a bait tactic because by not mentioning the obvious fights against Pac or Hatton he indirectly is calling out the winner of that fight. There wouldn't be much of a point to fight anybody else at that weight so if a fight against the Pac-Hatton winner doesn't materialize, I would look for him to stay at 135 and fight someone like Valero assuming he impresses in him upcoming fight. The other possibility would to be to move up and fight Campbell but it looks like Nate will be fighting Zab.

More importantly, he's not going to get Pacquiao.

I tend to believe he'd be better off at 135 as well.

Well I doubt Floyd will come back.

Depending on how things with Pacquiao go he should fight one more at Lightweight. Maybe Guzman.

Retire ! The reasons for retiring make more sense than to keep fighting. He is 35 and takes enough punishment in his fights.

I respect a fighter that retires on top , with his brain mostly intact rather than fight on .

Jmm only wants PAC for a big payday, lose, and then retire

would want to see him fight either Guzman at 135 or move to 140 to face Hatton/Pac or Nate Campbell or even Tim Bradley but preferably the Hatton/Pac winner

He should stay at lightweight and dominate for a while.

a Barrera rematch would seem futile to me as he won comfortably anough first time around.JMM carries the extra weight better than MAB from what we have seen

if he moves up to 140 and beat clottey...im sure people would strongly demand pac to fight him before and the winner faces the true WW champ

He should stay at 135 but stay away from Guzman, he's a very high risk low reward fighter. But there's no one as notable as Diaz. He could move up & fight someone like Nate
