I have no idea. I don't know how big Marquez is over in Mexico but if you could get a fight with Pac or Hatton down there it would be HUGE. Guaranteed. The problem is Hatton and Pac especially would not go there to fight.

Marquez is 35 and doesn't have many fights left in him. The fight he really wants is Pacquaio so I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up soon. The winner of Bradley-Holt would make a lot of sense or even Campbell. He just needs to keep winning against quality opposition to keep up the demand for a third Pacquaio fight.

He should wait for now and then go after unifications with Valero, Guzman or the winner of Khan vs Barrera.

Maywheather is a pipe dream and the only reason to go up to 140lbs would be Pacman, but that fight is still a long shot for now.

I believe the fight between barrera and khan is now a wbo eliminator
its like barrera putting his title shot on the line?!

Anyway i think it might serve JMM better to move up only for a title shot like the 3 you outlined, an outside chance is him going to Europe to fight Kotelnik (wba champ), personally id like to see that as eastern europeans tend to hijack belts so JMM going over there and banging out kotelnik and being a 4 weight world champ

It seems at 135 the serious fights for JMM are the prospects or 135 newcomers (valero or prescott) i think he'd wipe the floor with khan or barrera but they are more likely to bring the money, khans quite powerful and could catch him cold in the 1st, but JMM has experience of getting up from 1st rnd knockdowns, khan cant take a punch anyway
