pac has bigger fish to fry now. Pac had grown into the higher weight and also improved since the last time they fought. Marquez has aged. i'd rather see pac fight marg and floyd first.

If I was Marquez I would want the biggest money fight out there. He also has unfinished business with Pacman in his own head.

I wouldn't deny JMM another big pay day but Pacquiao has moved onwards and upwards and the fight doesn't appear to be one JMM can win.

Marquez has been Manny's blind spot in the ring and I'm not sure if Roach would be happy to put Pac in with a guy who is all wrong for Manny style wise.

I think JMM should fight Manny to resolve the issues with the previous fights to clear it up in his own head while collecting a big check.

A loss wouldn't be a big deal and he could still be competitive going back down to lightweight.

I dont want to see him fight PAC, just gives the *******s a reason to gloat, just leave the 2 fights and let everyone else be the judge and most think JMM won both fights, Pac is still in his prime JMM is well on the slide now at 37.

Wind down his career against a couple guys at 135, but wouldnt want him to continue too long and lose to guys like Khan, go out on top, it was clear to see he has lost some speed and was knackered in the last 3 rounds.

Katsidis deserves his shot. He's next in line and has done the work to get one. I can see why ppl aren't into this due to Marquez having bigger fish to fry at this stage. I also think Pac has moved on too far for Marquez to be of interest... I also don't think Marquez has nearly enough left to make a good enough go of it.

Kats lacks the technicals of Marquez, but he will force Marquez into a brawl big time. 2 of the divisions biggest punchers, not afraid to take a few to land hard, one up and comer, one legend showing he's still got it... Sign me the **** up

I don't see why you'd wanna see Manny fight Marquez a third time. They already fought each other in their primes twice and Manny edged JMM out in hard fought wars. If Manny fought Marquez now and beat him easily, everyone would just say that Marquez was shot.

    There's no point.

I wanna see Marquez fight Khan at 140. Marquez actually has a chance at a 4th title and Khan can try to solidify this as a passing of the guard.

Id like to see him against Bradley at 140. Bradley is not as rangy or as fast as Khan so he's a better opponent. Will be good close fight too.

That's what they said right before their last fight. That Pac was a more versatile, more right handed fighter, and blah, blah, blah... and JMM still managed to reduce Pac down to a one-handed fighter and beat him in the eyes of many. Just like with Diaz, it looks to me like JMM has many prety well figured out.

Marquez kept shooting himself in the foot when it comes to Pac rematches. After the first fight, he rejected $750,000 for an immediate rematch and opted to fight Chris John in Indonesia for $30,000 and lost his belts. After Pac-Mayweather fell off last December, Marquez was one of the candidates to replace FMJ, but he foolishly demanded 50-50 and steroid testing. If there is going to be a third fight, will Marquez demand that Pac go down to 135?

BTW, the accusation that Pac ducks Marquez like FMJ ducks Pac is foolish. How can you duck someone you've already fought twice and beaten twice?

Lol. I think we've passed the point of being worried about Pac losing to JMM.

Can you honestly say that Marquez poses a bigger threat to Pac than Margarito? We all love to say styles makes fights, but the fact is that Marquez's style hasn't changed while Pac's has improved tremendously. Marquez has had two chances to defeat Pac but fell short. And that was a Pac thathad yet to destroy Diaz, DLH, Cotto and Clottey. You think his performance against those bigger fighters wouldn't give Pac the confidence to fight Marquez again?

I'm glad fans are back on the JMM bandwagon, Pac was being called a sham for considering JMM when the 1st May proposal fell through. Marquez deserves the 3rd fight.

    JMM-Pac 3 @ 140. I prefer a Bradley fight but it's better than the Marg fight.

haha, yeah for all of 2 rounds :tong

its disgusting how he is allowed to make a 150 catchweight for the 154 belt and still not even make 150. this is why i hate pacquiao. he did the same with cotto too.

  15. That's the thing. A lot of people thought Marquez did enough against Pacquiao in both fights to earn the victory. I thought he clearly won the second fight. Thats what makes a third fight between them so enticing and interesting. Furthermore, a third fight between the two would be huge. It would probably do well over 1.5 million ppv buys. Every single Marquez fight would want to watch it. Pacquiao fans would want to see it too. Business wise, it makes perfect sense. Besides Mayweather, this is probably Pacquiao's biggest fight out there.
