What's next for Madrimov?

Excellent athletic fighter but he needs to stop being the kangaroo and putting more mustard on his shots

 

I did think until the 9th round both fighters had their moments and Madrimov might even have been slightly ahead. In the 9th Ortiz Jr started to take over but Madrimov always stayed in the fight.

Madrimov has the crowd chanting his name, people like him. I think even though he has lost his last two fights his stock has gone up. I don’t think there is too much reason for concern with him. He will pick up a belt again if he keeps fighting at that level.

 

He ran and fouled all fight.

 

I did think he didn’t have the referee on his side. It’s a fight not a tickling contest. The referee was scolding him for banging with his shoulder but Ortiz Jr did the same thing. I didn’t really see anything wrong on either side really.

 

Kept leading with his head like Katie Taylor.
