what's next for Odlanier Solis?

Hopefully a fight against someone at least noteworthy. He'll probably just continue to fight cans and plod along as he has been doing.

 

^ yeah frustrating how these HW's can't seem to get it together. For what it's worth Solis is ranked #2 in the WBC right now

and you'd think an Eliminator fight with Ray Austin would have been made by now. Solis really has to get his weight down

as Arreola comes in at 256 and gets crap for being out of shape, but look how much more a shorter Solis weights when compared to Arreola.

 

He's got the power, but, he ain't got the movement. Vitali and Wlad would box him silly.

 

So...Valuev is out of the picture. Will Solis fight Ray Austin to become the WBC mandatory?

 

He is not done, he will surprise everyone as he will be HV Champ, even overweight he has more talent, technique and amateur experience in order to beat any HV right now...

And if he loses some pounds...... ???????? REAL HEADACHE... :good

 

Solis and Arreola are about the same height. Solis' body structure is completely different than Arreola's. Solis weighs 20 pounds more than Arreola and he still looks fitter and with less fat !!!

 

Solis is too one paced, plodding, overweight to do anything significant, despite a lackluster division.

Just looking at the way Solis fights you can see a lack of desire, fire in his belly.

 

I don't know how do you still believe in him. For a while, he was keeping busy, even with his always steady weight problems, but at least he was fighting regularly. Now when he is almost there where he should be, he became a sort of primadonna, confortable, and just waiting, instead of doing what other whorty heavyweights like Adamek, Arreola, Herelius are trying to get: attention, coverage and good fights ...
