whats next for Ortiz?

    A rematch with berto seems pretty likely, but the money in that doesn't seem to be great. Berto doesn't draw well at all. What about Ortiz vs Paulie Malinaggi? I know, he only has 2 fights at welterweight, but this could be a pert good fight, mixed as part of a double header on HBO. Just a though.

    He has a bright future for the next few fights.

    Maybe be used as a tuneup for $.
    Rematch Berto, guaranteed to attract a crowd.
    Rematch Maidana, guaranteed to attract a crowd.
    Maybe a fight with Amir or Saul in the future?

    Probably a rematch with Berto in Vegas or better yet right here in LA, I think this fight would do well.

    So IMO what is next is..

    Ortiz Mosely if GBP can allow him back to GBP after going behind their backs but IMO richard already publicly admitted hard feelins for what he did.

    Ortiz Berto 2... Most likely to happen if not next right after.

    Ortiz Floyd... Losing to floyd will not hurt ortiz but will actually make him more popular if he puts at least a decent showing.


    Not many fights IMO since TR has most fading 147 pounders like Cotto, cintron, margo
