they should focus on trying to build his popularity.... after seeing the damage he is willing to inflict on his opponent I can see him being a star in boxing

I don't know if he'd beat him either but that's not really what I'm talking about. Dzinziruk is just a very very crafty fighter who makes everyone look bad. Williams would be no exception unfortunately. That's a fight I'd try my hardest to avoid if I was Dibella.

When the heat came down on the Margo camp for not taking the money to fight williams, Arum went on one of his tirade abut how Williams ****ed him over with the Pavlik fights blah blah blah...Same old Arum, its the same way that he tried to talk his way out of many other situation including the time that Oscar blew off the rematch with Tito...What he really meant to say was he wouldnt be dealing with Williams in fights with Cotto and Margo but would glady let him fight Clottey.

I posted the article on another topic here.

Williams is the kind of fighter that can over tax fighters like that, as is Margo...the high output sometimes make crafty fighters freeze on defense..But Yeah I think the fact that they are both southpaws alone could make it an ugly fight.

The more I think about it...the more a St. Patrick's Day weekend showdown with John Duddy in MSG would make sense.

-Bigger crowd with a vocal fan favorite

-The sort of fighter Paul Williams can look tremendous against

-I'm sure HBO or Showtime would run to pick up that fight

-A live opponent at 154 with a puncher's chance with a chance to expand his market

It's not the biggest fight out there but you can't argue the numbers.

They also need to run him in his hometown more. Establish a market for the guy so that he has a little leverage in big money fights.

I think the only one who would make Williams come back to 147 is Margarito. I also think that he shouldn't venture to far at 160. He might get knocked out by Abraham or Pavlik. So Forrest and Dzinziruk seem like the best options.

If PTP beats SD/SANTOS/FORREST in his next fight he NEEDS to crack the top 10 ring P4P
