I've seen some say he should hang up the gloves as he's reached a peak and is only going to get worse as he continues.

He recently in an interview mentioned moving up to 147lbs, stating he was tired of having to be "skinny" for his fights. This is a total contradiction from his statements in 2022 when someone mentioned if he was still interested in a Crawford fight. Regis, via Skype/Zoom/etc....interview, stated that his career will be at 140lbs. Said he felt that his the division he is most comfortable in and will dominate. Talked about wanting a rematch with Josh Taylor and potential fights if (then) certain lightweights were to move up like Devin Haney, Tank Davis, Ryan Garcia, Teofimo Lopez. Asked specifically about Crawford at 147, he didn't budge on the moving up talk.

In 2017, Crawford stopped an undefeated Julius Indongo in the 3rd round to become Undisputed at 140lbs. Crawford then moved up to welterweight in attempt to get the Manny Pacquiao fight or Keith Thurman. Julius Indongo chose to stay in Omaha, NE for a few months to train under BoMac & Red Spikes (Crawford's coaches). His next fight was vs Regis Prograis, who eventually stopped Julius in the 2nd.

That summer, Regis had a homecoming fight vs Juan Jose Velasco in which Crawford was in attendance being that it was a Top Rank card. The Wolf Pack (Prograis's Camp), ran into him challenging him to "come back down to 140" so that Regis can do to him what he did to Indongo.. I guess they felt since it only took them 2 rounds to get rid of him vs Crawford's 3 rounds.....then that's proof Regis was better.

That being said, what do you think Regis Prograis' next move should be..... He didn't look good in his last 2 fights and this one really seemed like he was struggling to even compete. Making amateur mistakes and getting desperate at times just so he can show he had heart.

I thought he was going to bare-knuckle.

If he stays at 140 it was rumoured he could face Dalton Smith providing he wins the European Title against Jon Fernandez early next year.

If he moves up to 147 he could rematch Josh Taylor? Taylor is rumoured to have signed with Matchroom and that would be a big fight.

I'm not sure his face would remain so unmarked in bkfc

He hasn’t looked good in several fights, I’d say retirement is a good move.

Past it boxers do seem to do well in BKFC if he’s willing to get his face scarred up..
