After beating Estrada, who do you guys think Rungvisai will fight next?

Clearly the best at 115 and is big at the weight... Should move up.

He has to rematch Estrada. That was such a tight fight, I had it two rounds to Estrada but I could see Rungvisai winning by a round coz there were some swing rounds.

So rematch Estrada if he wins, go after the rest of the title holders.

Maybe we can see a Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs McWilliams Arroyo fight next.

What about a Rungvisai vs Nietes fight?

Nietes is too small, he would have success by the power would tell down the line.

Nietes is too old. I thought this was supposed to be his retirement fight. He'd never handle the pace Rungvisai can press let alone the power of the bigger man.

How did you feel about the fight? I know you picked Estrada, I think he did enough to edge that fight tbh that last score card was atrocious. Nevertheless it was very close and a rematch should be called straight away if both men want it.

I thought the fight was good not great. I was a little disappointed in Estrada's performance. I thought that he was so much the superior boxer that Rungvisai would look silly in there with him, but it was actually very close. I underestimated Rungvisai's strength and stamina. I have no problem with him winning. I had him winning on my card, but on reflection I guess I was biased in favor of Estrada and didn't notice just how many of Rungvisai's punches were actually landing. It was close enough for either man to take it fairly and Estrada has only himself to blame for not stepping on the gas peddle earlier and bringing the fight to Rungvisai.

I checked the compubox stats afterward and Rungvisai swept 3-7, that's five straight rounds he outlanded Estrada. He only had to take the tenth round where they both landed evenly but Rungvisai hypothetically threw the harder shots to get a draw. At the end of the day, Rungvisai punches harder, he might even deserve points for aggression. If they took the same number of rounds, landed about the same, and Rungvisai hits harder then Rungvisai did more damage and deserved the nod even if Estrada was clearly more skilled. Physical ability matters just as much as skill and I don't want to denigrate Rungvisai's merits in favor of some hypothetical "pure" boxing aesthetic. The guy has balls, muscle, and hustle.

That’s fair enough, i think you did underestimate Rungvisai abit if you didn’t think he could hang with Estrada. I had Estra winning I think the last two rounds won it for him, if you give the 12th to Rungvisai then it would be a draw on my card.

Estrada biggest problem was he was conceding the last minute of most of the rounds which made it difficult to give him the rounds. Estrada should have stayed on the back foot, swaying back from Rungvisai big lefts, countering and pivoting out to his left. This was when he had most of the success.

However it’s easier said than done when you have a relentless hard puncher like the Thai. I would favour Estrada in a rematch but not sure if he can stick to game plan long enough.

i dont understand estrada, there were times where he could've attacked runvisia without getting countered but would hesitate to pull the trigger. if he can take advantage of those opportunities in the 2nd fight then has it in the bag.

Power and pressure can make even the best wary.
