I read Dan Rafael's article and i also asked myself this question.
Taking JMM/PBF/Cotto/Pacquiao out of the picture due to their next matches - the names are:

Andre Berto : i dont think Berto's camp will take that risk, but it would be a interesting fight.

Paul Williams : If shane takes this fight, he definitly has the biggest balls anyone had in boxing for a while his last fight having been Cotto, Mayorga, Margarito. Anyhow, a fight that people want to see, but i don't think.

Kermit Cintron: In my opinion, this is the logical choice. After schooling Angulo, he's back on top and could give shane a big fight. The only bad thing is that this fight dosen't boost Mosley's resume at all.

The flock of Light Welterweights - Bradley, Diaz, Hatton... I think at least one of these guys has a good shot at taking on mosley...

Discuss! - my choice is paul williams btw!

If Paul can make 147 again then that makes sense. Shane shouldn't move up in weight again though. If Paul can't do the weight then I like the Berto fight as it gives Shane another belt. Cintron is a pointless fight and, again, I'm not convinced he can make 147 anymore.

I think it should be Williams. Realistically he is the biggest, toughest, and best option he has.

He could risk alot but the praise he would get for taking this fight and pulling it off. Marg in the second half landed alot and it affected Williams. Shane is more accurate and a bigger puncher.

I like him to fight Williamsor someone else from top WW contenders
so if he wins he can set up next fight with either PAC-Cotto winner or PBF.

If Pac is ducking Mosley, then Mosley is ducking Paul Williams.

Williams would shut out Mosley for 12 rounds... Mosley will probably ask Williams to get down to 147 to drain Williams out. lolol

Can you say double standard? XD

Its going to be between Williams and Cintron. Hopefully its Williams. Also i hope Shane makes these two come to 147 instead of fighting them at 154.

Respected journalist Dan Rafael said he has a gut feeling it will be Zab. I'd like to see Zab or Berto cause as a Mosley fan I think Williams is too long and too active for Shane at this point of his career. But what do I know, i thought he would lose to Margarito.

If im Mosley theres little reason to fight Williams. Its a very high rish and low reward fight Shane could do probablly just as well beating the crap out of Cintron,Berto or Judah as compared to taking a strong chance at losing to Williams and ending any possiblity of a Cotto,Mayweather or Pacquiao fight. One fight id like though is Mosley vs Clottey hes better then any of the talked about names besides Williams and IMO got a raw deal in the Cotto fight.

Its a shame about Kirkland. I would have loved to have seen Kirkland-Mosley at 150 catchweight

Mosley would ruin Kirkland, he has no defense.
