I hope he won't be fighting Jeff Horn, that would be a mismatch.

Keith Thurman would be ideal. Someone like Lamont Peterson, Shawn Porter or Danny Garcia would make for an interesting fight.

Crawford-Spence should happen in about a year, not right away. Let each of them defeat a couple of contenders first.

I'd go down the Horn route, call out Spence, winner of that gets a fully fit Thurman in 2019, ideally that scenario works out. I highly doubt it goes that smooth though.

I agree. I think he takes a relative tune up and then campaigns for a rematch with Danny Garcia at the end of the year.

Promoter battle is a factor here.

Crawford is going to have a hard time getting a good and worthy deal to fight many of the top WW's. Haymon has Spence, Thurman, Garcia, and Porter. It is possible Crawford never faces any of them and from where I sit seems unlikely he faces more than one.

Realistically, Crawford should shoot for a 2018 that sees him fighting Jeff Horn and then Manny Pacquiao.

I'm pretty confident that is how it goes down.

The Horn fight is guaranteed to happen, since it's a very easy way for Crawford to pickup easy money and the WBO title. He can unify with either Spence or Thurman afterwards.

Horn too big for the lightweight, it'll look like Margarito-Cotto. Crawford will be taking knees all over the ring

Whatever he does he needs to stay away from Spence at all costs.

He can beat anyone at WW. He just needs the stage.
