Taylor isn't even close to being "great." He always was an HBO created hype job, and now everyone knows it.

He should retire. I think he will retire. And I think he'll stay retired.

If he does comeback, the only fights that would pay/make sense are him vs froch rematch and him vs rjj

Does he got Irv Gotti's number. Jaidon "The Dumb" Codrington could Taylor a serious ego. When Jaidon gets KOed, it always looks like you just killed the man. Sure could make Bad Intentions feel good again to do that.

It might not be a bad time for him to call it quits. I doubt he will ever reach the next level again.

If he wants to continue fighting, though, there is no reason he shouldn't.

Either a rematch or a long slow comeback to build up his confidence, which would essentially relegate him to gate keeper status.

It's up to whether or not he wants to fight, but I think one of those three routes is fine.

    Bull****!

Taylor is a flawed fighter, but he was not hype, Zak. That's ****ing bull****.

He fought competitively with Hopkins, Winky, and Pavlik. Yeah, he got stopped by Pavlik, and yeah, I thought his "win" in the Hopkins rematch was total bull****, but even still, he was a talented fighter who just never able to put everything together. No shame in that, and that in no way makes him a "hype job".

He was a very good fighter, just not a great one.

Taylor should try to get the rematch with both Froch and Pavlik. I think he could win both if he would just focus on boxing and stop getting into slugging matches.

Hopefully a rematch, he'd probably have a much better chance of winning a Froch rematch then a Pavlik rematch. I mean he was 14 seconds away from doing here.

Like Wladimir Klitschko, Taylor has the talent to be great, and like Klitschko he lacks the heart of a champion. He had both Pavlik and Froch beat then finds a way of losing. A true champion finds a way to win, not lose.

14 seconds from winning the fight and some think he should retire? He better get back to the gym train his ass off for a rematch. Money talks.
