October 2015: Tony Thompson decisions Robert Helenius after traveling to Germany. Everyone assures Helenius it was a fluke and try to score an immediate rematch. Some backers even tell him it was a robbery.

December 2015: Tony Thompson beats Robert Helenius up until he retires in his corner.

January 2016: Tony Thompson becomes Wladimir's mandatory opponent for a third time and is knocked out in two rounds, with his arm stuck to the side of his head.

May 2016: Tony Thompson goes to New Zealand to be knocked out by Joseph Parker, except Thompson scores a temple shot that knocks him out in the third round. Everyone assures Parker it was a fluke. Some even say a foul. An immediate rematch is made.

June 2016: Tony Thompson goes to New Zealand and beats up a dissillusioned Joseph Parker. His wife never recovers. But is happy about it.

November 2017: Tony Thompson travels to the UK to fight Anthony Joshua. A fluke punch to the liver stops Joshua in the seventh after Thompson survives a few scary moments. Everyone assures Joshua he was illegally punched in the kidney. An immediate rematch is postponed, as Thompson is now Klitschko's mandatory opponent for a fourth time.

March of 2017: Tony Thompson and Wladimir Klitschko, both comfortably in their forties, meet in Germany. Thompson becomes Wladimir's first first-round knockout since his 2016 first-round knockout over Jean Marc Mormeck in a poorly celebrated rematch.

May of 2017: Thompson travels to the UK again to rematch Joshua. Joshua is upset by seven hundred light punches to the temple and liver area in a shocking decision defeat.

March 2018: Tony Thompson retires.

May 2019: Tony Thompson is brought in to fight Tervel Pulev in Bulgaria. He weighs 206 pounds. Thompson stops Pulev in the fifth round on a fluke uppercut to the chin. Pulev's backers assure him that it was a fluke punch. Some even say it was illegal and actually landed on his throat. A protest is filed with the commission. An immediate rematch is secured.

July 2019: Thompson travels to Bulgaria again to decision Tervel Pulev in an awful contest where Thompson looks just awful but is too confusing and gangly for Pulev. No one knows how this happened but it must have been a fluke.

January 2020: Wladimir Klitschko sees Tony Thompson is his mandatory again. He retires. There is no fourth fight. Tony Thompson, having won the interim Onyx WBA sub-regular belt is now fully instated as the champion for the first time in his career. He breaks George Foreman's record, kind of. He then tells everyone to sod off and retires to take care of his smilingly destroyed wife who has seen things they don't even do in snuff films and made it out. Everyone calls her a trooper but she says it's worth it.

February 2020: Michael Grant finally becomes champion against Bert Cooper. No one sees it coming. Many question how they were so high in the rankings.

I honestly don't want to see him get a hold of the title because we already know he can't beat Wlad so whats the point
