Wow.... I hope williams and margo rematch so you can finally give williams some credit. When did Margo become the end all be all of boxing, this **** is out of hand.
it's true Paul Williams is an old fashioned champion that wants to unify the division and actually fight the best out there
I admire paul williams (some may not but every boxer has critics) he is what you call just a "fighter" he loves the sport and is willing to take on any challenge possible. He fought and called out margarito (alot of fighters at the time and still now arent thrilled to get in the ring with him, we should also respect margarito for taking that fight as well) he fought in just his first defense a very skilled boxer in quintana (and rematched him). williams has called out guys like margarito (dispite him winning), de la hoya, judah, cotto and even pavlik and is willing to fight anybody from 47-68. williams just fought in sept at 160 and is going to move down to 147 to fight in nov. Even the biggest williams hater has to respect that.
yea its really gotten out of hand since the cotto win, although it was impressive. It still doesnt make margo the best thing to hit boxing in the last 25 years. Thats what these fools think.
Since williams already beat MArgarito this makes MArgarito the #1 at contender at WW and PW is the real champ. forget lineal Ring or any other belt. PW is the winner of this and he avenged his sole loss which was not to AM. by all meanings of the word PW is the real champ.
