- calls out pavlik and PAVLIK turns it down because he doesnt want to get caught beating up on welterweights - accepts clottey match up but hbo denies it - calls out margarito and margarito doesnt want to make the fight happen for petty reasons - made offers to shane but shane was never interested because of the difficulty of the fight - claims he will go all the way up to 160 - is fighting a legitimate threat in verno phillips - Claims he will go to germany for szgeri dzenurik (spelling) Hate Him Or Love Him Good Results Or Bad Results YOU HAVE TO COMMEND THIS MAN FOR WHAT HE IS TRYING TO DO! in a day in age where fighters taking big risks is becoming more and more rare paul williams continues to try and impress the boxing community...
TRUTH!!! I just hope he continues to win because atleast in my opinion he has all the right pieces to become some kind of sensation with in boxing... definitely not as big as odlh or floyd or something like that but hes willing to fight anybody and now that he is targeting dzenurik (how ever you spell it) in germany its clear he's willing to fight anywhere... this guy could be Tremendous for boxing and this is the original reason i became such a big fan and i hope he can continue his success
Man,he ain't gonna be anything as big as de la Hoya or the others....he ain't marketable enough.....and he ain't gonna fight no Dzinziruk....he just talked like anybody can.I think I'm gonna fight Dzinziruk in Germany myself.......:tired
i like that he is saying the right things but the truth is that apart from impressively avanging his loss to Quintana and holding a win over a then-unproven Margarito, he hasn't really walked the walk.
no doubt ... im just talking with in the boxing community... unless he makes some serious music about ww... you have to atleast give him props for trying he is saying the right things but its not his fault that - shane said no - marg said no - hbo said no to him and clottey - pavlik said no i mean the guy is trying ... if nobody chooses to accept his fights you can blame paul williams for that... maybe some day paul will be the guy on top and everyone will be knocking on his door.. when thats the case you can blame him but for now you atleast have to give him some credit for trying
no offence but at the end of the day i give respect for what a fighter does in the ring, regardles of the excuses. I like PW and I wish him the best, and I also think he is on the right path to earn my admiration and the admiration of boxing pundits, but he doesn't have it just yet
Tim Bradley, Paul Williams, and Nate Campbell. 3 fighters who have my respect but who still need to fight some top guys
:nono Now that is a ****ing lie, there was a day here a few months pack in which you flooded the forum with atleast one dozen Paul Williams threads, get ****ing real son.
im not sure about tim bradely but nate is almost in the same boat as paul... called out joan guzman and finally got the fight going on track... when the time came for it to go down joan ruined it .... just like some of pw's fights have been ruined.... so theyre trying to get those top dogs you want.... the chips just arent falling for him
