Looks like a future p4per to me....
Don't see many threads on him on here
But I can't think of a better prospect in Boxing than Derevyanchenko

Middleweight is gonna be very strong soon with Golovkin, Derevyanchenko, Quigley, Murata, etc

Need to see him in with someone operating at a higher level before passing judgement. He passes the eye test at this point though.

Soliman was about 10th in overall middleweight rankings when he destroyed him.. but yeah I'd like to see him in with someone like Quilllin or Lee.. I'd be fully confident he'd dispatch them quite easily. he's the truth.... he was the best World series of Boxing fighter ever.

Lee or Quillin would be a good barometer.

Too bad he is trained by Starks and Rozier. He should get as far away from those two as humanly possible. They ruined Khytrov FFS.

Agreed. There are many more better coaches out there that would help him grow a lot better as a fighter.

The big nations at amateur boxing like ex soviet nations and Cuba, haven't shown their best pros yet.
Sadly there's lots of trial and error before they get to the top of professional boxing and yes, i know the Klitschkos, Lomachenko and GGG, but they were helped by their amateur pedigree, Deveryanchenko it's quality, but his management has been bad, his corner has been bad and he has been very inactive for a guy that turned pro a little too late and isn't really young, what it's a shame because he had the biggest wsb experience over any boxer that has turned pro.

He's alright, decent at everything, nothing he does great at anything. Probably not elite, but could be a top contender down the line.

Soliman was 42, on a two fight losing streak, hadn't entered the ring in a year. He was 10th overall in jack ****. If DV hadn't knocked him out there would have been something wrong.

I think Murata is better, and does Sulecki compare with these 2?

:eyepop::eusa_doh:That is terrible news. I didn't know he was trained by them. In that case, I don't rate his chances anymore lol. But yeah he was the greatest fighter in WSB.

I need to see more of him in against top competition to form a firm opinion on him. I like him though.

I'm more impressed with him than I was with Khytrov he actually displays good footwork and defense, I think he has a lot of potential, maybe throw him in with a Korobov next.

Murata is gunna get knocked out when steps up, he displays virtually no defense.

Derevyanchenko is a damn good fighter. I rate Sergey Lipinets too.. Very Provodnikov-esque! But better!

"Ukrainian middleweight contender Sergiy Derevyanchenko (11-0, 9 KOs), 30, who fights out of Brooklyn, New York, has been added to the Errol Spence Jr.-Lamont Peterson card on Jan. 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Derevyanchenko will take on an opponent to be determined in first ring appearance since Aug. 25, when he stopped Tureano Johnson ...
    Dan Rafael, ESPN"

It seems like (I hope I'm wrong) Derevyanchenko's team was unable to get a well-known fighter to fight Sergey...
