He fought twice in March against really bad opposition.

He now has 7 straight wins since losing to Lebedev.

Does he want to simply keep doing that (fighting bums) or does he want one last shot at a title?

I don't think he'd have a choice in the outcome if he met Marco!:lol:

He wants a shot for the CW title. I think him seeing how much success Hopkins has had in his 40's has deluded RJJ into thinking that he can have some semblance of success himself at his old age.

The problem is, both men fight nothing alike. There's a reason why Hopkins has been able to last as long as he has, his elite level defense and ring IQ has allowed him to have great success throughout his 40's. RJJ at his best was a fighter of elite reflexes and athleticism, 2 attributes that he definitely hasn't had for almost a decade now.

He's doing what Briggs is doing minus the trolling. He will probably go for a payday fight before he retires. It makes sense what he does. He should go for Huck, get a TKO loss without getting too much punishment, and retire for good. I guess he needs that money.

So sad. So very, very sad.

It pains me to see him doing it.

I don't even watch now. I want to remember the fighter he was.

I was hoping he would only have fun with those exhibition quality fights in Russia without letting those wins get to his head. Sadly however, it looks like he plans to step it up.

    To martyr himself against Huck.

I wonder if he already picked out a charity to whom to posthumously donate his purse. :think

He should call out Sugar Ray Leonard, he still looks like he's in decent shape. Give us all the fantasy matchup we want!

Nah, they shouldn't glove up, but they should have a talent show.

Ray skipping rope tricks vs. Roy dropping ill rhymes!

Roy Jones is Superman and a P4P head to head monster why do his fans not want him to fight Huck for a title in a possible 5th Division? :huh

Seems like a great opportunity to me.
