Seeing as I come from the royal bloodline of the celts I think I would know where my people come from From the physical description you provided you sound like more of a basque then a Gael Perhaps this is why you favour this "theory" It's called a theory as it has still not been proved
The fact that folks still think there is such thing as "race" is where we all fail....what separates us is our different socio-ethnic groups, basically the group of beings from the "human race" sharing similar traits, beliefs, foods, general culture etc.
:roll:The fact that you think there is no such thing as race means you're not too bright. Just because a bunch of shiny happy hippies come along and say there's no such thing as race in an effort to get everybody to hold hands doesn't mean that's the reality.
Here's how it goes, first came Persian/Indians, they spread and evolved into the Slavs, they spread and evolved into Latins and Germanic peoples, various small doses of different Arab populations mixed in along the way and then the Latins (Basque/Spanish) spread to the British Isles and were followed by Germans and Vikings making up modern day Irish and British populations. Both Irish and British are hybrids of German, Viking and Spanish.
