    i know he is a very underated fighter. not flashy not spectacular has a typical amatuer style of fighting where everything works...but looks very ungainly. but to be honest that ungainlyness and boxing ability make him very awkward to fight against. hopkins simply stayed away and taunted him and then landed right hamds from a distance which i feel is the main way to beat him

    but the guy can box and can punch.has a very nice right jab. and a very powerful left cross.

    but come on people when guys like herbie hide and james toney are your same age you know he cant stay for too long

    i just watched the fight against santiago andf i got to say it isnt as bad as people think he clearly outboxed him and punched his way through just people who were ringside wanted a war...please

    Actually I think he should move up to Cruiser weight. I think at his age it is taking too much out of him to make 175. Remember he fought at 178 as an amateur in 1996. I think a fight with Steve Cunningham and him would be interesting.

    Tarver needs to step his pace up. If he gets some energy in the ring he would be very very hard to beat. But he is still in the mix and a good boxer. Boring as all **** though.
