Are you sure the LaMotta fight wasn't signed? It sounded like a done deal in the article. If so, Robinson would likely have to pay for breach of contract.

And in one of the articles about this offer it's said to be 20 000. 5 000 less than the LaMotta fight.

On the whole this is a very strange offer. Why not make the offer for a date at least a month later if it was serious? In that case Robinson would have a chance to take both fights. Because I can't see why he would ditch the already planned LaMotta fight for a fight that at best gave the same money.
