Bute's counter left to the body was nasty shot.

Here he is dropping Fernando Zuniga with one. Zuniga was teak-tough but look at the pain etched across his face when it lands and his writhing around on the canvas in agony.

Yea that was it for me. I've never seen a fighter in more pain than when GGG hit Macklin. This dude was on the ground in the fetal position just rolling around like a fish. The grimace he had when he went down. He went down immediately and with his mouth wide open. He dropped like a sack of potatoes. It wasn't a delayed reaction either.

The only other shot that I've seen with similar impact with McClellan against Williamson.

Bute was, if nothing else, a knockout artist of the highest order. There was real thought and commitment put into his traps and counters. Lets not forget that he leveled the sturdy chinned Edison Miranda with a single chopping counter shot, and that man fought noted punchers all the way up to cruiserweight.

There was also the Berrio fight where he nearly killed his opponent...

Yeah and he was definitely a hell of a body puncher. Andrade, Zuniga, and Miranda were all really tough guys but he got them out of there in style. Andrade in particular was insanely tough.

Roy Jones vs Hill, it was as scary as some of the light out KOs, I was worried hill might have had internal bleeding.

Senchenko creased Hatton with a beaute to the chops. In a fight he lost almost lost every round in no less. Hatton had it in the bag , all he had to do was ease off the gas a bit. That was such a gutting loss thinking back :scream:

Maybe it was the "better" bodyshot considering the quality of the opponent. But Macklin was in more pain than Hill was. When GGG hit Macklin it was the type of punch that made you worry if his organs would ever be the same. The RJJ bodyshot on Hill was impressive because of the speed, but Hill got up. Macklin flopped around like a fish like he had been lethally stabbed and was about to die.

If it was up to me there would be a word filter on every one of these threads so any responses containing the words Roy Junior would automatically filter into something hilarious.
