What's the best bodyshot you've ever seen?

Roy Jones, Jr.’s body shot on Virgil Hill was pretty brutal.

 

Most recent for me has to be Gassiev in the Recent tournament,such a sweet bit of boxing,little tap to head and left to the body and you could see him come upwards,Wlod had no chance of getting up.
No mention on the first page of GGG liver shot on Macklin and the Hopkins liver shot on Oscar though that could of been as much about the weight as well

 

Was thinking the same thing,it’s almost like none of the possibles are even relevant lol.
Reason I picked Gassiev recent one is that I ca still remember it and why isn’t it up there with this bunch?damage was the same with said guy who’d never been down and was rolling round for ages.
GGG and Gassiev do the same things,I’ll bet Macklins KO was similar

 

Can’t believe I’ve not seen that as I saw most of his fights,can imagine though Hatton was a good body puncher.

 

Canelo is a good modern one against Liam Smith,he’s got a great body punch Imo.
Whilst not worthy of all time best Amir Khans body shot on Maidana only Maidana so bloody tough he got up and carried on.

 

How come nobody brought Wards “body shot”on Kovalev,so bad the Ref waived it off lol.

The Gassiev body shot against that Polish guy was the best bodyshot I've seen in the past year. I definitely thought about that one, but the thread title was what's the best bodyshot you've ever seen? And to me it was GGG's left hook to Macklin. Why did I pick it? Well GGG winded up on it, got full rotation on it, perfect balance. It was located perfectly with 100 percent perfect leverage and it landed absolutely flush. And the result of that was Macklin went down immediately with his mouth wide open screaming in pain. Then he laid on the canvas flopping around like a fish making absolutely no effort to even get to his knees. It was just an incredible punch.

The one Joe Louis landed on Schmeling right before he drifted to the ropes in their rematch is epic.

 

Enzo maccarinelli when he landed it sweet made me wince for the other fella. Absolute lethal

 

Yep I’d have to agree GGG on Macklin only enhanced that reputation of Golovkins of someone to be avoided lol.
