whats the best divison

    who does everyone feel is currently the best division for boxing in terms of quality,competition and great fight potential? i personally think super middleweight especially with the inclusion of jermain taylor now. please tell me your reasons for your choice

    cant see how cruiserweight is better then super middle IMO

    Cruiserweight has great potential boxers....and great potential match-ups.

    I agree tho Super Middle looks pretty good....

    With Jermain going and Miranda already making some great impact.

    everyone is going for welterweight. on paper it looks the strongest but we arnt quite seeing the matchups that we want there.

    Out of the divisions you listed, the strongest are probably 147, 168, and 130.

    Jr bantam looks pretty good

    Supermiddle has a whole host of upcoming prospects, along with Miranda and Taylor to bring more recognition

    Welter is a bit overrated. We've already seen Paul Williams ain't that good, and I can't believe he is was ever so highly rated. Quintana isn't truely A class, and Mosley is pretty old

    whats stopping all those fights at 168? I see a roll call of possible sweetmatchups but doubt they will happen. The following need to get their asses in a ring and fight each other

    Miranda
    Bute
    Taylor
    Kessler

    any combo of the above is good for fans and good fro the sport.

    Haha, 6 divisions are missing, including the great SBW and SFlyW.

    I'd say if it's quantity, SMW, MW, WW, LW, SFW, FW, SBW, SFW & FW are the best, and if it's quality, it's LHW (Dawson, Hopkins), SMW (Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute, Taylor), WW (Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, DLH), SFW (Pac, JMM, Guzman, Gamboa), FW (John, Linares), SBW (Vazquez, Marquez) and SFW (Mijares, Montiel).

    At present the cruiser weight division is a really hot one.Lots of talent there.
    I am not really sure whether it is the best weight division out there,but I am positive that it is one of the most interesting ones.
