    I know a lot about Marco, I merely said that I didn't know as much about him as you as you seem pretty obsessed with the guy - judging by posts like this anyway!

    Barrera only fought at 126 about 6 times I think.

    Pacquiao dominated and annihilated him at the weight.

    Was the best version of Barrera at 126, the best he was on any night there, so much better than the one that fought Pac that he could not only avoid being stopped, not only make the fight closer, but completely turn it around from being brutalized to winning the fight???


    I am ending this here. You are so twisted with bias you don't even make sense. I genuinely never expected anything so irrational and idiotic from you. Worst comment I've read from anyone other than Nallege in a helluva long time. So long Mexico.

    Barrera's run of form pre-Pac included: wins over Hamed, Morales, Tapia, Kelley

    Barrera's run of form continued after Pac: stupendous performance v Ayala, beat Morales (the most convincing win of their trilogy)

    There is absolutely no basis whatsoever for pretending Barrera was so far declined in 2003 that another version could've beaten Pac.

    Abysmal. Just abysmal.

    I share the same opinion as Emmanuel Stewart. Barrera had become so accustomed to fighting on the back foot and counter-punching that he simply could not handle what Manny was delivering at the time. Kelley and Tapia are lovely names to have on the record, but in reality, Tapia was not a Featherweight, was on the verge of retirement, and Kelley should have been. They weren't terribly impressive performances, and neither was Barrera's against the over matched Paulie Ayala, who was not a Featherweight either.

    That said, Barrera was not past his prime and was certainly amid his best days. However, that was not the best Barrera we ever saw at that weight, and although I don't think he would have neccesarily won, the Barrera of 2001 of the Hamed fight is so much more competitive.

    ...And you need to calm down. It's only ESB, you don't need to over emphasis everything you say.
