What's the best full round of boxing you have ever seen?

    Morales was brilliant against Pacquiao first time around. Then he fought at a weight he was not comfortable at against a fighter who was a bad stylistic match for him, and was outboxed. I don't understand what is supposed to have happened in the one year between the first fight with Pacquiao and the second that suddenly and definitively moved him from capable of a great performance to shot.

    A guy turns in the best performance of his career, but then ONE YEAR later, he is so shot that a win over him has no value or legitimacy? No, not at all.

    Cheers mate, never get tired of watching that. The knockout in the second is one of the best i've seen for pure lunacy. Benn seems to feign nearly being done for and unleashes a murderous right whcich misses ( luckily for Logan ) then spun round blindly and threw the left.Bang, out.
    The count does seem rather short though i must admit.

    He has won them all, but he is clearly not the same fighter. He has moved up in weight, but his power is nowhere to be seen, his reflexes are shot and he looks for all the world like he's just going through the motions nowadays. Pre-Moore, Macklin was a very forceful fighter with tremendous willpower, he's a shadow of the old Matthew Macklin now.

    only seen one of his fights since, he looked alright. thats sad, but maybe to be expected. He can probably dine out on that fight with Moore for the rest of his life anyway.

    Hagler ...Hearns wat a fight ..Gatti ward ..wow ..Barrera Morales ... Jeeezeee... Holyfield Bowe...damnnn...Alexis Arguello and Aaron Pryor ..round 10 or 11 i think ...but i must hasten to thank yu all for this trip down boxings memory lane ..great fights mentioned ..and those i dont know ..imma look up ..

    Another great call. Not a solid 3 minutes of action, there is a lull, but still a truly great round because of the sheer dynamite of Oscar trying to finish Ike on the ropes and Ike firing back like a man possessed. Man, Oscar really was some fighter in those days.

    There have been so many cases in Boxing history where a once great fighter, far removed from his prime, puts in one last great performance of his career. Erik Morales had his in the first match-up with Manny Pacquiao. Outboxed Manny, and refused to yield whenever Pacquiao managed to throw some flurries.

    Erik was not even the same fighter he had been when he fought Barrera in their rubber match. Fighting two wars with the likes of Barrera and Pacquiao back to back, and the moving up and down from Lightweight? It takes a lot out of a fighter, and I think it's fairly ignorant to ignore it. Pacquiao's victory has value, but after their first fight, Morales lost everyone of his last 4 fights. He was finished as a fighter.
