    What's the best resume Floyd could have realistically had?

    *Assuming he'd have won the fights*

    took the cotto fight in 2008 and won instead of retiring and took the pacquiao fight last year and won instead of going on vacation. those two fights alone would have boosted his resume up greatly.

    a fight with tszyu and casamayor at the lower weights would have been nice names for floyd to add on.

    Yep, he also could have taken the Winky fight jumping from 140 to 154 after Gatti instead of Mitchell/Judah. That would've been his greatest victory.

    I'm glad Floyd didn't take the Singsurat or Torrecampo fights. He could've been knocked out in those fights.

    he wouldn't have beaten Winky when he was 4 weight classes higher and a bad style match up

    yup, taking winky at 154 would have been big for his resume even if he didn't win and made it close. martinez right now would also be a good name to add on.

    He wasn't four weight classes higher. They negotiated the fight after Floyd beat Gatti, they both called each other out publicly. They were two divisions apart at the time and Floyd was moving up to 147 anyway and wanted to fight DLH at 154 aswell. It was scrapped after Mayweather's team insisted on a rehydration clause and Winky couldn't agree to it. I agree it was a bad style matchup and Floyd would've definately been up against it physically, it would've been his greatest win had he pulled it off for sure.

    Realistically, the only Top Rank fighter Arum would have pit against Floyd would have been Margarito when he was a nobody. That said;

    Paul Williams
    Margarito
    Tzsyu @140

    Would have been nice to see Pacquiao and Cotto on there.

    I think Floyd would have lost to Winky on sheer size alone. 140 moving up to 154? Not smart.

    Wait, he could ONLY fight Hatton or Williams? It was just one or the other, no chance in say, the almost 2 years he was "retired" to squeeze another fight in? :patsch

    true pw is more fitting.

    But personally i would also like to see clottey. i think he is dangerous for floyd.

    I mean it would have been cool if Floyd would have been allowed to expose these people sooner than they were but lets be real here it would have really done little for Floyds legacy besides Cotto
