What's the ceiling for Stefan Struve?

This is actually a pretty amusing debate here fella's, keep it up, some good stuff, im glad im not locked into this war

 

I know the gloves can do that but still Browne just lost to Big foot who isnt your average can but still not really the cream of the crop either and he had a bull**** draw with Kongo before who is a top 10 gatekeeper.

Roy Nelsons best win was a shot to **** Crocop.
Sure he has power in that right hand but he throws it from a mile away and it not like he mixes it up either its always that overhand right.

But i always enjoy watching him fight win or lose

 

Sad thing to say, but if he started on the juice he would be a much better fighter. You can see by his frame he is a natural fighter.

and i read back and saw killer instinct was a major talking factor on here in regards to the skyscraper, well **** me stephan sure did show great killer instinct last night especially when he had an extremely tired hunt in front of him and when in the mount on at least 2 occasions

I didn't see the fight last night, and can't recall his previous win streak. But, I read that not using his height and reach advantage did him in as always. This was a major setback, and the 5th time he has been punched out. I see him falling to the wayside because he's not going to be the same after a broken jaw.

 

he done ok in the second rd using his jab and reach but he kept it too predictable and hunt then was timing slipping the jab, he wasnt throwing a jab feint and coming in with something else, did he brake his jaw last night

 

Yes he did, and I don't think he will ever reach the top. So many wars, knockout losses... But, the worst thing is his young age which will keep him going for some time. He may feel great in practice, but my man is only going to damage himself more as time passes.

What he needs is to use his God given height and reach and give the sport one last go. This was a pretty big setback. Reaching The UFC is an accomplishment in itself so he could walk away now and have a place in the sun. It's just sad seeing someone as young as me not fighting smart and getting punched out from time to time.

 

Even in the fights that Struve wins, he tends to get thrashed quite badly. It will be a miracle if he doesn't have any long term brain issues.

Think he needs to take some of Overeems PEDS............ Imagine how much bigger and ripped that guy would be? Might even give him that killer instinct

 

You may have had a point if Struve wasn't also extremely gassed and had Struve actually not tried to go for a finish.

But, Struve was extremely tired and he did try for the finish in mount. Showing that his killer instinct deal) got him into touble. So much killer instinct deal) that he ill advisedly attacked Hunt's arm instead of just punching his guarded head.

 

loads of killer instinct he just lacks ability and intelligence :yep

 

Oh, no one will be defending Struve's ring IQ anytime soon, I don't think.
