One more take on this match up. In a boxing match, its Haye all the way, but if its a street fight, Hopkins is going to win big.

Youre right. He should go in there swinging wildly as soon as the bell rings, and go for broke. Who cares if he leaves himself open, he wouldnt get hurt by and 45 year old middleweight that has no power. Thats about as competent as your evaluation of the Marquez fight.:-(
Maybe you can give me another three page breakdown of why Haye didnt approach the fight that way, after it happens..

No, based on him being starched by one punch in the amateurs, based in his showing a shaky chin at cruiser, and based on Barrett scoring what looked like to be 2 knockdowns.

Haye hasn't been hit at all at heavyweight bedsides the Barrett fight. They way he fought Valuev tells me he's sacred to mix it up.

The way he fought Valuev, tells me he can use his head and box to orders ,not just wade in for a tear up.
As you say, " Haye hasn't been hit at all at heavyweight ",perhaps it might be best to with hold judgement until he gets a few more fights at the weight under his belt?
As to Haye being "sacred", I wouldnt go that far ,but he is a breath of fresh air in a boring division imo.
Lets see how he deals with Ruiz?

i think haye can knock him out.
    the contrary is not realistic.
and how can hopkins even win a decision against haye ? shake him in clinches ?

Holmes got starched in the ams and was dropped quite a few times at heavy.
