I agree that mares-perez was extremely difficult to score, a very underrated fight

  2. Kotelnik landed better with good counterpunching, alexander had no asnwer for it and just threw a lot of punches. I actually had a big bet on alexander so I was rooting for him but I was schocked to see ledermans card he was totally out of it that night.
To me it was as close as hopkins vs pascal without the kd's would be. I only saw it one time though I would need to rewatch it to see if it was actually closer then im currently thinking it was.

I was watching Mosley/Cotto not to long ago. I scored it 116-112 for Mosley. However every round diffcult to score. If you told me tou had it 120-109 for either boxer I would not argue with you. I plan on watching and rescoreing it again to see what score I come up with.
Because I thought that every round was a comptive round this is one of my favroite fights of all time.

i went back and thought about the fight the next day and i really was scoring it on activity but the punches were doing much and kotelnik COMPLETELY controlled it. i compare it to a lot of paulie fights in the style he fought in. kotelnik, for me, wasn't active a lot and when he won he won BIG...just chilled out way too often

  6. He definitely deserves a rematch, if alexander loses vs bradley they should make that fight.

good call. either to settle it or build up a career after a loss, that's a great match up

    Mora-Mosley.

People have strong opinions about who won - and they're all wrong no matter who they think deserved it.

That fight is unscorable - not because it's close, but because it's terrible.

    Both lost in my mind.

Neither did anything that warranted being awarded a single round. That wasn't even a real boxing match, IMO - it was an atrocious exhibition.

Awful fight, one of the worst ever.

Its hard to say MOST difficult but 1 that came to my mind 1st is actually the best fight I ever saw.... Morales v Barrera 1, most rds were super close.
Erik threw & landed more in most rds while MAB landed the most eye catching combinations, depends what you like, amazing fkn fight, if you havent seen it you havent lived.

How anyone can see a clear winner in that fight is beyond me - for the record I gave Morales 7 rds & the fight with it, no quarrels with anyone having MAB a close winner tho (key word is close)

  12. I havent seen it yet, I wanted to to see what mosley looked like after floyd before I place my bet on the pac fight. But now im kind of discouraged. Worst fight I saw was wlad ibragimov and holyfield vs valuev it was just so boring. was it on that level?

    Yes, maybe worse.

There were entire rounds where neither landed a punch.

Have you seen Mora fight? So picture him applying his usual style (but even more negative), while Mosley applies the ineffective aggression from the 2nd half of the Floyd fight (but even worse). Lots of clinches after lots of wild Mosley misses. Neither lands a true clean punch. That's how most of the rounds go.

    Seriously ?

This fight was nowhere near good enough for even FOTY never mind being anyone`s favourite fight ever (or 1 of) & Cotto beat Mosely, no controvesy in that fight in my eyes.
