I havent heard from him in a while and i remember him saying that Carl Froch and Adamek were possibilities. Now that Froch is tied up in the SMW tourney and the Adamek fight talks died down what the hell is Hopkins doing?

I heard he's retired, and I won't pay attention again until a fight is announced.

Why should Bernard Hopkins be chasing them? B.Hop is not chasing anyone. he doesn't need them or anybody else he's already a legend!

To take it further, I'm not sure I'd want to see him fight again anyway.

Grandpa is crustier than he seems. He's been nursing that old ass body the last few fights. Not sexy.

He's waiting for a magical 170lb Oscar to show up and guarentee him $3M against a past-it opponent.

Now that the SMW tourney eliminates a bunch more options, if he isn't interested in Dawson or Ademak, he should just retire. His act has become old to me. The guy is a legend but whatever it is he hopes to find in a fight just doesn't seem to be out there. Take what is or move on.

He has said several times that he doesn't mind if he never fights again. Right now, i think he's going to retire. He should've had a fight by now or be getting ready for one by now. He can't just sit out 1 year at his age and that's exactly what he's doing. I doubt he fights again.

His low ball offer to Adamek said he was either 1) Very delusional about his value or 2) Really didn't want to fight Adamek to begin with. I think it's a bit of both.

I know he doesn't want Dawson. Who really is there? Roy Jones? I doubt it.

he might as well retire. he is only getting older and think dawson could take him at this point. the only fight he was most interested in was a calzaghe rematch and there no chance of that ever happening.

Although I doubt there's any chance of it happening, I think he should fight RJJ. I would think the fight would sell pretty well considering how big their names are and their history.

He should retire. Frankly, he's not going to get a better fight to go out on than the Pavlik one.
