He's supposedly courting offers from a few promoters in the US right now. If and when he signs with one of them, such as Golden Boy or Top Rank, they will undoubtedly work to get his medical clearance in the US taken care of. As far as I know he's only sanctioned to fight in Texas (or at least could be). He's still prohibited in places like California, Nevada, Jersey and New York. Hopefully, we'll see him in with the winner of Diaz-Marquez or Campbell-Funeka sometime next year. It's make or break time for Valero this coming year.
WBC have ordered Valero v Antonio Pituala for the 'interim' WBC Lightweight title. Purse bids have been scheduled for this month I think.
yeah that's what i have heard from the news. arum told valero to get ready to fight pituala when they met in the general santos a week ago.
