World Title rematches where someone is trying to get their belts back I have no problem with, it's rubbish like rematches for an eliminator ie. Whyte v Povetkin and Chisora v Parker/Pulev that I have issue with. What's the point in an eliminator if there's a rematch? It doesn't make any sense. What's the point in Chisora full stop?
Aside from the big three Fury/AJ/Uysk fighting each other Wouldn't mind Joyce v Whyte instead of Chisora Give Chisora his Wilder fight and then Wilder can fight the Joyce/Whyte winner (Joyce)
Not sure for either fighter to be honest. There was obviously a genuine hate between them which fuelled the first fights, they seem to be quite pally now however and are often seen supporting each other etc so I can’t see a third.
Voluntary title fights (rather not but if you’re giving someone a voluntary shot at the title then fair enough you put a rematch clause in), draws and controversial decisions should be the only fights having rematch. Matchroom talking about Whyte Chisora 3 when the last one ended up with Chisora in the recovery position ffs. Same with talk of a Wood / Conlan rematch. Literally sparked him out the ring and sent him packing on a stretcher, that’s as conclusive as it gets.
