Personally, in recent memory the best card ever was Pride Shockwave 2004. Here are the fights.

1 Ikuhisa Minowa Stefan Leko Submission (Heel Hook) 1 0:27
2 Mu Bae Choi Paulo Cesar Silva Submission (Arm Triangle Choke) 1 5:47
3 Ryan Gracie Yoji Anjo Submission (Armbar) 1 8:33
4 Ryo Chonan Anderson Silva Submission (Flying Scissor Heel Hook) 3 3:08
5 Makoto Takimoto Henry Miller Decision 3 5:00
6 Rulon Gardner Hidehiko Yoshida Decision (Unanimous) 3 5:00
7 Mirko Filipovic Kevin Randleman Submission (Guillotine Choke) 1 0:41
8 Dan Henderson Yuki Kondo Decision (Split) 3 5:00
9 Takanori Gomi Jens Pulver KO (Punch) 1 6:21
10 Mark Hunt Wanderlei Silva Decision (Split) 3 5:00
11 Fedor Emelianenko Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Decision (Unanimous) 3 5:00

    Can Affliction top that? :yep

one of my favorite card ever... I believe that DREAM's NYE card will be memorable. (or maybe it's a bit too soon...but once this org is well established as a dangerous competitor like pride used to be...then i think we'll be seeing more quality cards like this one)..

No affliction can't top that one...but affliction is still doing a great job so far...whether it's coming from affliction or dream or K1....mma just needs more competition. we imperatively need to avoid the monopoly of a single org like the ufc is trying to achieve...

That's the card that immediately sprung to my mind. I remember watching the PPV live. Great card that one.

The UFC card "STACKED" was fairly - dare I say - stacked as well.

That is the card that is universally considered the greatest to date. I don't think Affliction needs to compete with that card, what they have to compete with is the UFC and Dream cards from here on out. Maybe have a few more cards and then see about "best card ever" but for now, survival is what they should be focusing on.

That was a very good indeed, The UFC may not have had the best card of all time but they put a very good card on every month not including free UFN. This isn't a sprint it's a marathon and the UFC is in it for the long haul....We'll see how Affliction does in it's follow up cards.

That was defo a stacked card. Some of the Pride GP cards were quite stacked as well. One I can think of off the top of my head is Total Elimination 2005.

Final Conflict 2005 and Bushido 9 were better than any of those listed.

Me and Scurla would agree on Bushido 9 being one of the best mma events. I don't think this thread is about the best events but the most stacked cards. Don't get me wrong on paper Bushido 9 looked good but maybe it lacked a bit of star power/big draws when you compare it to some of the other events.
