Ruben isn't racist, for one. And he isn't as vulgar with his trash-talk. He's also trash-talking the trash-talkers. If it was any other opposing team, he'd probably be his normal self. So it appears as though he'll disrespect you if you deserve to be disrespected. Whereas Angel will put on his act against anyone - Khan, Morales, Judah, etc. Not to mention Ruben genuinely is a tough guy that can look after himself. We saw what Angel is reduced to when someone gives him **** back.

 

I'm not condoning Ruben's behaviour (as it's sometimes cringe). I've been pretty vocal in my criticisms about him and his son in the lead-up to this fight. But a bully taking it to a bully is obviously easier to stomach than a bully taking it to someone who's quiet and reserved. The Mayweather team have a history of ganging up in numbers to indimidate the opposing team (look no further than the recent face-off between Love and Rosado). So am I gonna' feel sorry for them when someone gives them **** back? Less so.

 

Oh, and by genuine tough guy, I just meant that he's the type who wouldn't be scared to get his hands dirty. Wouldn't surprise me if he's already been to prison. He looks like he was one of those crazy-ass Mexicans back in his day.

Where as Angel Garcia is actually funny, provides the lulz and comes across as a genuinely eccentric dude. Probably acts like that 24/7 whether the cameras are on or off.
