Where in the hell do you get info like that? there are not the same guy....Brock has already shown decent standup and he is still green, he has the ability to get better unlike Coleman who basically was and still is a GnP guy his whole career and hasn't evolved.

Not sure about this Coleman being stronger stuff, he's a naturally 190-200lber on a lot of steroids and a heavy bodybuilding routine. Lesnar is a much bigger and, imo, stronger man.

Coleman, of course, is a proven fighter and great, winning several UFC tournaments and being a pioneer. Lesnar, while possessing a similar base, has not proven to be anything like as good a fighter. He's faced one submission guy and lost. Just because you're big and can wrestle doesn't mean youre the same as Mark Coleman. Coleman was a better wrestler as well.

Brock isn't showing ****. I don't understand why people buying into this crap. The reason he is so "good" at stand up is because he's quite careless with it. The reason he's careless is because hasn't had the worry about his chin yet. Once somebody clips him good he'll be very timid. Big guys are like that. He will be dreading a 2nd punch that will hurt him.

Coleman has proved himself, Lesner still needs to convince people.

The biggest similarity is they have freestyle wrestling backgrounds.

Coleman wrestled on a higher level, and has better technique. Lesnar is bigger, stronger, and is the overall better athlete.

I think Lesnar has far more athletic ability than Coleman, which will carry him far in the long run. He's also bigger, stronger, and likely has better conditioning. I think Lesnar has the potential to be much better than Coleman.

Well Lesnar has surrounded himself with a team that has already produced champions and has brought in world class training partners like Comprido, where Coleman basically trained the first part of his career on his own.

However limited people think Brocks stand up skill is, he hits like a mule and is a legitimate threat to KO most fighters standing.

Are you agreeing with Beebs, because I didn't see him say they were the same thing?

Brock can hit hard enough with an arm punch to jar most fighters. Ask Heath Herring what it feels like when he adds a little more to it. Unlike Bob Sapp, Lesnar seems to realize he doesn't have to windmill his way in like a ToughMan Contest fighter.

well i agree he has KO power, but every HW has KO power hell Pete Williams KO's Mark Coleman, i am not arguing Lesner can't KO any fighter he fights. i just think his stand up is not very good. but Lesner is not a stand up guy and he would be stupid to stand with real strikers.
