The difference is they're a completely different fighter, unless of course you're an idiot/blind.

Yeah there are a few different ways he can fight you, and he adapts accordingly...I personally don't see him staying in the pocket against Pacquiao, particularly when he can fight so well on the outside, and avoid that storm.
Pacquiao will have to be VERY proactive in this fight, because he will not win if he fights as patiently and reserved as he did against Marquez.

I think he can do it if he fights the right way

I know what you mean, but I think Floyd can fight Pac in the pocket, as long as he ties him up and be's careful getting there. Hatton did a good job vs Pacquiao up close, but his problem was crossing no man's land

This is true, the reason for this is Marquez reach. He doesn't have very big reach, he actually measures to the same reach as Pac and has to be in Pac's punch range in order to be able to land effectively. His best chance to hit Pac and most other fighters would be those moments looking to trade off since that's his range. Mayweather on the other hand usually has a nice little reach advantage and doesn't need to rely on guys coming in so close to him to get his offense off. Mayweather can focus on slipping punches and getting out of the way because he knows once he is out of the way he will probably have the reach advantage to get those pot shots off.

Mayweather is also more capable of hurting Manny with a strong counter then Marquez is.as he is stronger at WW then Marquez is. Mayweather is more capable of landing lead off punches on Pac then Marquez is because of his hand speed, reach, quickness, foot work. Though Marquez did a very good job leading off at times. He had a nice couple of left uppercut right straight combos.

In short while Marquez is a more active counter puncher throwing multiple shots but is also more vulnerable to being hit. Mayweather won't get hit as much as Marquez as he won't open up as much in that situation and Mayweather hits harder with his counters then Marquez at this weight. Mayweather will also have more capabilities to land lead off punches then Marquez due to reach, hand speed, quickness, reflexes, foot work.

That is what I thought everybody should have expected. I expected a KO from Pac but nobody should have expected a close win from JMM. As I have said a million times, JMM would have needed a KO, or a real dominant convincing win to get the W. There is just too much at stake for a Pac loss, because of the business side of the sport.

Very simply put, here's why Floyd wins so many rounds. He is a very accurate and sharp puncher. Many of his punches that are landing, land flush and are very easy for the judges to score. He is also an excellent defensive fighter. Even when he gets hit, rarely is it flush. He's using angles and twisting and turning his body to takr the sting out of punches. So when a judge is watching a Mayweather fight, he's clearly seeing Mayweather land crisp punches on his opponent. Meanwhile, his opponent is only hitting him with glancing blows, if at all.

I see the in pocket fighting going pretty well for both fighters, and I think it'll come down to a matter of how much leather Floyd is willing to eat. I know Floyd will tie him up a lot and use those elbows if they fight in the pocket, but I cant see him totally nullifying his offense like he did against Hatton up close. I think Floyd will eat a few good shots and go right back outside

First off Floyd does everything better then Marquez in every facet of his game. Second, Floyd doesn't just throw enough punches just to win *******. The Castillo fights were clear wins and years ago. There is no 'fighting' like who ever. Third, no fighter has ever out worked Floyd in a fight. You can form a better opinion of Floyd if you watch film of him.
