Like most everyone said GGG is fighting decent competition and wants to fight better people. Wilder on the other hand we are still waiting for him to even make the step to the oquendo, Austin, level. Surprised he hasn't fought Briggs yet. Which I would be interested in seeing.

That would be very interesting. One thing is for sure: it wont be a KO1.

GGG's cv is no worse than Carl's Froch's. In fact it's a lot better. Froch's best ever win is just about beating an old shot Kessler by the skin of his teeth to make it 1-1 between them.

Imagine if Wladimir Klitschko fought the current Shannon Briggs and only managed to go 1-1 with him by the skin of his teeth. Now imagine if his fanboys kept going on and on about how great an achievement that is like the Brittards do with Froch Kessler. It would be very sad and pathetic wouldn't it?

What's so great about Froch's cv then? I repeat his best career achievement is just about going 1-1 with the corpse of Kessler who, in his prime was dominated by Calzaghe and shown up not to be among the elite.

Now, almost a decade later Froch beats Kessler by the skin of teeth and suddenly beating old Kessler is a phenomenal win? Something doesn't add up, it stinks.

The "Froch is a HOF fighter" nonsense just goes to show you the power of media hype. We all saw what happened when froch fought an actual elite fighter in Ward, yes that's right he got brushed aside in an embarrassing fashion.

    :deal

Wilder fought nobodies, GGG fought decent opponents who gave other champions a tough fight or who were champions. I wouldn't even make sparring with those bums Wilder fought.

ward is proven HOF and clearly the best fighter at SMW, even if his career has nose-dived since then
you haven't mentioned jermain taylor - who took the froch fight because his own career was stalling - and saw froch as a 'leg up'

the fact that you have to try and pull Kessler down through his loss to calzaghe doesn't sit well, since froch's wins over both Kessler and taylor trump anything golovkin has done

if Kessler was "dominated by calzaghe and shown up not to be among the elite", then what leg are you giving golovkin to stand on?

Golovkin's "cans" have a much better resume as Wilder himself.

GGG at least faces titlists or former titlists, and he is calling out the best in his division but everyone's running scared

Deontay has fought 99% semi pro boxers lol, he has 2 semi good wins in Malik Scott and Liacovich but that's it
