I have no idea of the PPV numbers, but I would be somewhat suprised if it did less than 100k......

......but to the *******s.....they still have'nt announced the final PPV numbers for Pac-David Diaz......word is that it did 150K, when they were expecting double that!

.....I dont believe there was any expectation for a JMM-Casamayor fight, only that they could make more money going PPV than for it to be on HBO or Showtime......which was probably the case.

If JMM/CASA comes lower than PAC/DIAZ fight....obviously, MARQUEZ is really not a sellable commodity, except when he fights PACMAN. jI remember that JMM/JUAREZ was held in a small enclosed building with a capacity of what .... 1K? He's a good counter puncher, kudos to that. But he shouldn't be in boxing. He should be teaching self defense. Because boxing is suppose to be for warriors. It's suppose to be a battle field. People get bored when they're expecting a battle and you see a timid fighter just waiting for a punch instead of initiating the punch.:hat

Dan Rafael is reporting that the buys were between 90,000 and 110,000.

Glad to hear that i'm a big JMM fan, so I hope he made a few bucks. I thought JMM vs Casa was a great fight and a that it was a pretty good card in general. I've seen alot worse for 45 or 50 bucks.

My only complaint is that it expired from my dvr after 1 day. To whom do I attribute that crap?

Let's make that 100k. FYI, Pac-Diaz was reported to be over 200k buys w/c means Pacman made twice than JMM. Surely Pacquiao is the draw when they fight and Manny has every right to demand a bigger purse...

.....and nobody is.....just that Pacquiao got a 75/25 split the last time they fought, and would illogically demand the same for a 3rd fight.

The final reports from the Pac-Diaz fight were that it did closer to 150k than 200K......that falls well short of the near 500K that his fight with JMM did.

Obviously the fans know when a matchup is worth buying, and neither Pac or JMM are going to do big numbers fighting the likes of Diaz and Casamayor......fights that just 5 years ago, would never even be thought of as going PPV.
