What's the Frampton- Quigg undercard realistically gonna look like?

Hearn said it won't be stacked up because most of the money pot will be given to Frampton and Quigg. He said there's gonna be 4 Mcguigan/Cyclone promotions fighters and 4 Matchroom fighters

So Conrad Cummings, Josh Taylor, Anthony Cacace, Marco Mccullough should be on there. but they are prospects so i don't think they'll be in tough.

Hearn was talking about a English vs Irish theme and some Matchroom vs Cyclone fights and mentioned Cummings vs Brian Rose or John Ryder.. but I think it's too soon for Cummings and Mcguigan will decline those.

Would Like to see the Cardle vs Dodd rematch on the card.

There's been talk of Crolla vs Ormond if Crolla beats Perez

I was looking at that yesterday. Pretty much all Cyclone Promoted boxers should get a run out but like you said they are 'prospects' so can't see which Matchroom boxers they could sensibly take on at this stage in their careers.

With the event being PPV and no dates available at the O2 until late March/ April I could see AJ finding his way onto this bill (in a lot less high profile fight than December 12th obviously). Other than that Manchester's Anthony Crolla (providing he does the business on Saturday) and maybe Belfast's Ryan Burnett although I would be guessing.

I'd guess AJ will end up on the card, he can't be commanding that much money, and a lot more casuals know of AJ than quigg, and they're needed to purchase ppvs.

Crolla would presumably make the undercard in a soft touch defence if he does beat Perez. I'd expect Luke Campbell to be on there too.

Can't really see cyclone fighters adding too much to the undercard

I agree I cant see Cyclone fighters out-width Frampton adding much to card. I think you will get Burnett defending the British after he wins it as he will, and I think Cardle v Dodd will be on. Eddie will want good fights that are not too expensive. I also think he will put Marcus Morrison on the bill, maybe for the English title or something. Also have a feeling he may put Paul Smith on the bill, in a decent match up he should win.

Its 11 weeks after, it's a similar gap between the Cornish fight to the Whyte one for AJ.

If he gets through whyte easily without getting cut etc, I can't see him not being on the card after signing a multi year deal with matchroom.

Thought the plan was to wait for the winner of teper v helluins for the eu title, but we will see. Don't Eddie will be able to pay aj and opponent as well as frampton and Quigg getting millions each.

yeah I don't think he'll get a good opponent. Someone like that French guy deonty beat, or maybe even another Cornish type opponent.

He had a big fight on may 30th vs KJ, but squeezed in a few bums in bham and Newcastle in the months prior, my guess is something similar will happen. Then he'll fight teper / helenius at the o2 in april/may time.

Paul smith vs luke blackledge has been rumoured, so thats a possible undercard fight. Although Blackledge is now a BN fighter

Burnett will be on for sure. So will Cummings, Taylor, Cacace, and McCullough. The calibre of the opposition they face remains to be seen.
Can't see Cummings going in against Ryder or Rose in what would be his 9th fight.
