What do you think is the greatest win by a British fighter?

Of the last twenty years it has to be Hatton/Kosta.

Tyson's win over Wlad is a big one, but Wlad has always been vulnerable and afraid to fight. Tyson never went in and TOOK the titles either, it wasn't a mugging as such.

Hatton took it to Kosta in a much better fashion and made him quit. Kosta is a legit ATG as well. And arguably "The Man" at 140 (alongside Pryor).

A few on that list were before my time.

Hatton, in all fairness to him, only lost to the elite - and two ATG's that'll be talked about forever in Manny and Mayweather. He beat everyone else. So it'll be interesting to see if Tyson does go on an undefeated streak etc.

Honeyghan for me he was fighting a top yank who many thought was unbeatable in his own country and given no chance

Based off how much of a shock it apparently was, i voted honeyghan i'm a little young for that though.

For me in my era, my favourite was brook vs porter, or froch vs taylor

    Definitely Turpin v Robinson.
Jack 'Kid' Berg beating undefeated Kid Chocolate in New York in 1930 was pretty big.

I'm curious as to the argument against Turpin Vs Robinson. A clear win over the 128-1-2 consensus greatest fighter of all time surely is the greatest single win by a British fighter in history.

While Robinson was slightly past his best, for perspective compare what he achieved after the loss to what Tszyu and Curry did.

Berg's wins over Chocolate and Canzoneri are probably more significant than Hatton's over Tszyu (even when considered individually).

    Honeyghan vs Curry.

I remember people on our street saying the TV news must be wrong. It was unbelievable.

All of the others mentioned were either on the slide (Tszyu) or on holiday (Robinson).

Lloyd beat the ****e out of the best fighter on the planet.

Always vote for Honeyghan v Curry on this subject.

Totally written off and made Curry quit on his stool arguably the P4P king 1986.Listened to the fight on the radio as a kid, great upset win.

Always also throw into the hat non-title wise Kirkland Laing beating Duran on points.Even Duran admitted he lost!Great win Laing then went missing for a year :rasta
