Of all the rumored fights between big names in boxing over the years, which one is the one boxing fans truly missed out on?

If I went by the list I'd say Lewis Bowe for me. Would have been a heavyweight classic IMO.

At HW, and those that weren't already named above.

    Vitali v Lewis II.

    Foreman v Holmes.

    Patterson v Marciano

    Norton v Frazier

    Earlier Tyson v Lewis

    Bowe v Tyson

    Wlad v Lewis.

2000 era Wlad or Vitali vs Holyfield.

2012 Vitali v Fury or Wilder.

Most great HW fights happened. Many of those that didn't weren't obvious to be great fights until retrospect. The K's are in a lot of the great fights that never happened. A shame, and as a K fan, some of that is on them.

Hulk Hogan vs Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Add me to the Lewis vs Bowe bandwagon.

Calzaghe v relatively Prime RJJ (not the very faded RJJ Joe fought) would have been very interesting

It would be Lewis vs Bowe two prime guys that decide an entire era..though Lewis took over. It was a close to 50/50 fight where anything could have happened.

i would argue a Holyfield vs Tyson match up or against either Bowe or Lewis in his peak years but no one was ready for a then 80's Tyson.
