Cause I think we'll have a candidate for it this Saturday in HBO's Casa-JMM match...

    The 4 aborted Rahman-Brittley fights.

The pay-per-view numbers from Klitschko-Williams amounted to a disappointing 120,000 buys, according to HBO. At $50 a buy, that sum probably barely took care of the fighters' purses. There's been talk of a heavyweight tournament to establish a single champion, but promoter Don King controls three of the champs - Byrd, Ruiz and Brewster - and the popular opinion is that he's trying to protect his fighters. But those alarming pay-per-view numbers for a heavyweight title fight should consolidate efforts in the industry to correct the situation, lest everyone loses in the long run. It also adds fuel to the fire that a compelling heavyweight fight is needed, and Klitschko-Lewis fits the bill.

Most of Roy Jones's PPV fights after Toney and before Jones did poorly.

Barrera/Fana did very bad. About 75,000 I think.

casamayor vs marquez should be a great fight, I can't understand all the abuse its getting.

both fighters are proven, and are technically great boxers, i expect marquez to be more of the pressure fighters, and casamyor being the expert boxer that he is to use his jab and try to control the pace of the fight.

should be great, shame that its not on in the u.k

I believe my Mexican cousins will keep JMM/Casa from being a flop on that scale.

To answer your question, though, that Holyfield/Oquendo PPV from 2006 was reportedly a complete flop.
