    It was a good stoppage in my opinion. Manfredo was hopelessly out of his depth and the ref did everybody a big favour.

    When Manfredo had no answer to those feeble slaps, I didn't wish to see any more.

    The JC-Manfredo stoppage was good IMHO, the fight was effectively over. What else did people want (or expect) to see?

    He was hopelessly out of his depth, though his bitching at the presser following the 'fight' made the whole event very amusing.

    He was an awful ref, in the first few rounds he didn't know what he was doing!

    Ian John Lewis is the best ref we have, something that sticks in my memory is when Phillips went down in the Hatton fight and it was rightly ruled a slip even though it really looked like a knockdown, I had to slo'mo it to see if he was right and he was. If that had been Vann or Paris they'd probably have waved the fight off
