    Damn.

Did Duran kill your dog or something?

Just want to hear you say it one more time (or not say it and further prove your hypocrisy), that Duran was bigger and more acclimated to fight at MW because he fought there before Roy Jones, Hopkins and Benn

I'm starting to think you didn't even watch this fight as you claim. At various points SRL came at Duran with really bad intentions and was digging to the body like he's never done before or since. Most LW's in history, even champions, might have wilted under the pressure SRL was putting Duran under during big portions of that fight. So yes, it took a superhuman effort to overcome SRL that night.

You don't have much confidence in Duran to think he would wilt. I don't think that was superhuman to win a fight which was fought on his terms. He is a tough guy. Although taking Leonard's punches are different than Tommy Hearns obviously. And that proves my point. Ray fought with his heart in that first fight. Had Duran taking punches from Hearns and kept going I would say that was superhuman. Ray could punch, but not like Hearns and certainly that was Duran's fight to fight like that. You would even admit to that.

He was acclimated at middleweight. You are looking for excuses for Duran to explain the losses. If he has excuses for losses, then he should not get credit when he wins at those same weights. That is having it both ways. It does not work both ways if you want to be fair. He gets a lot of credit for his wins at 154 and 160.. If he gets the credit at those weights, his opponents should get the credit for beating him at those same weights. How is that irrational thinking?

I like fairness and no way will I give a man credit when I don't think he deserves it as much. Very good win. He beat a young undefeated guy. But then I see the circumstances, and I am not going to build something more than it is. Ray beat him easily in the 2nd and 3rd fights. Benitez beat him easily and Hearns did. at 147 and 154. Weights he won titles at and where he got a lot of credit for those wins. There has to be fairness.
