Is this guy any good? Does he have the potential to make Brook quit and plead for mercy on one knee? Or is this your standard confidence rebuild job that isn't worth glancing at?
Could be either i guess. It will depends on various points. What has Brook mentally and phsyically left if Rabchanka - who can hit as hard as Spence i think - lands some big shots on his face? How will Rabchanka show up? He did not fight a lot since the controversial loss to Mundine in Oz. If he is taking this seriously and had a good camp before he can do some damage here. He has the tools, he was a great prospect years ago but never could translate it. My feeling tells me that we will see a surprise here. My head tells me Brook with a late stoppage or an UD.
Guy's cruising in or landing. 3 rounds he's boxed since his last loss in June 2016. Hasn't gone past four rounds and won since 2013. I Brook loses this one, he's nowhere. So it's a bit more than a confidence builder in that he can peg Brook to the lowest rung on the ladder, but it's not a proper fight.
Brook should beat the daylights out of Rabchenko. If he somehow contrives to lose, we know it's over for him.
Rabchenko is a former WBC Silver and EBU 154 pound champion, decent fighter, after his loss to Tony Harrison hasn't been very active this should be a Brook win.
Rabchenko looked like a future world champion at one point.. he was a very good prospect he especially was impressive when he sent Ryan Rhodes into retirement. Then he seemed to regress/not improve and found his level. He fought poorly against Mundine even though I thought he deserved to nick that fight. Then got stopped by Tony Harrrison. Brook is a level above the European level Rabchenko, as long as Brook is still close to his best he should stop him probably in the second half of the fight
Rabchenko is a decent, solid fighter at 154. Maybe top 15...but even that’s being generous. Tony Harrison beat him without too much trouble so that says a lot
He's not a total bum and is well schooled. Was a regarded prospect at some point but that fell away after the Mundine and Harrison losses. You never know with the rough fights Brook has been in lately and the injuries to his eye. Might be worth throwing a few on if you're a gambler but not much more than that.
He's a Tszyu clone minus the chin and power and ability. He had a very bad loss vs Harisson and i think Brook eats him alive if he has anything left.
Big, strong but basic. He did stop Rhodes....something Canelo couldn't do but that was a lifetime ago.
