It was actually just released on ESPN that this was in the contract all along. Pac said he did not want Clottey to have a trainer since as usual he wants to "level" the playing field....
what the hell is wrong with the US embassy in Ghana? Did i read somewhere that clottey's trainer was in the security list of the federal government? lol
He will be training with his old trainer,Kante, he has no choice as they are waiting on his old coach to be cleared and travel soon. he has already started training as we speak. wish him well.
Clottey is training in Ghana at his new trainer's gym. There are very hard fighters in that gym. Young, fast, high paced but raw. He should have good sparring partners who work him hard there. I believe he's also getting advise from Azumah Nelson and possibly Ike Quartey as well. It's not known how long he'll be in Ghana. Whether he'll hold most of the training camp here. I doubt the US Embassy will give the corner men the visas in time for the fight, it's a racial thing. Hopefully, his brother(Emmanuel Clottey) and Kwame Asante will be in the corner instead of his old time(new) trainer and cousin, they won't have problems with visas.
i remember one time clottey asking on facebook if he should change trainers and who people would recommend
