Whats the latest age to go into boxing?

  1. what do you guys think is the latest age one can enter boxing and become successful in it? do you need to be physically gifted to be successful if you start late so that you can make up for it?....

    Depends how athletic you are. Nate campbell walked into the gym at 23

    Look at all that Rugby and american football players... very good athlets can start boxing late and they can be successful. It is not like soccer where it is just not possible to start late and become a good pro.
     
  4. true there are very few people who started late nate campbel,sergio martinez and the mitchell guy are the only ones i know...but you need to be physically gifted but why cant someone who is 18 19 year start boxing there are enough years to become good at it right??

    THink its easier at HW though tbh where its not as deep
     
  6. very true alot of the lower weight fighters tend to flashy and skillful but the higher weight classes depends alot about strength and stamina although the best of them have alot of skill
