Been over 5 weeks since his win over Chavez...any news of big fights on the horizon?

Loved to see him have a fight in oz..that be worth a bit of coin for a PPV, if they stacked the card up enough. Which they usually do up in toadland where Im sure it would be staged.

He's waiting for a decision from Hatton about what he plans to do. Katsidis is a chance if Hatton continues fighting.

Huge fight for rocky VS Hatton...however I dont think Hatton is shot...he just ran into a red hot PAC

I think Hatton will beat rocky and it will show us how good Hatton is but also how good PAC is.....dont get me wrong I will be going for rocky every punch...just think Hatton still has lots to offer.

i really really hope this fight doesnt happen, so many better fights out there for both guys - rocky should stick to his optimum weight and go after casamayor rematch first of all

as i said in an earlier thread on the topic .

If Katsidis beats Hatton , the perception of the general public will be Katsidis beat a washed up Hatton ..so it doesnt really boost his marketability or stature

whilst if Katsidis loses to Hatton , they will say he lost to a washed up Hatton , therefore hurting his marketability and stature...

so thus there is too much to lose not enough to gain for Katsidis in taking this fight ...why does he have to go fight at light welterweight anyway...he still has some big matches at Lightweight ..like Casamayor.

Although dont think Casamayor would be too keen on a rematch.

I would love to see Katsidis v Amir Khan ...Katsidis is very marketable in the UK after his fight with Earl.

I agree Casamayor rematch or Khan would be a good choice.

    Casamayor rematch - Yes
Khan - No (too quick for kats, only 10% with the KO)
Hatton - No (Hatton is still a beast against the rest at 140)
    Stay at 135 - Yes

I cant see what why all the resistance to the Hatton fight..probably not my prefered bout either but its a bout win or lose Mick will probably get the most exposure and coin from.

Had the same thought regarding Hatton/Tszyu... too busy living in memory of Tszyu's finer moments though.

Kats/Khan would be a match from heaven. Kats bullying and keeping Khan on the backfoot should happen. Kats may end up a mess facially... how will Khan take the pace of Kats??? Kats ko. late. Khans chin will provide a fall earlier perhaps.

Kats/Hatton... Hatton would be the 'Tszyu' in this fight.. a little old and weary.. Hatton would punch himself out by 9th round. IMO, a massive slugfest. Kats would need a KO to get a Draw in England.
