What's the legacy of the four kings Juan Francisco Estrada, Carlos Cuadras, Roman Gonzalez (Chocolatito) and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai at 115 lbs (Super Flyweight) ?

They are almost retired (and Cuadras is officially retired), but what legacy will they leave? Are they among the top 20 in the history of this category?

Chocolatito is by far the best of the 4, however 115 was his worst weight class. Gonzalez was better from 105-112.

The call Bam-Rod 'El Carronero' in Mexico which translates to The Scavenger in Spanish

Bam-Rod has fought more dead men than he has fought living ones :shakehead:

Why did he return to 112 lbs and relinquish his WBC belt at 115 lbs when it was the time of the unification against Junto Nakatani, who held the WBO belt at 115 lbs at this period ?

Jesse Rodriguez ducked Junto Nakatani, it's clear.

And the worst part he was knocked down against a old Estrada. I'm certain that Jesse Rodriguez would never have beaten the Four Kings in their prime.

Indeed. Dragged him out of the care home and got dropped by his geriatric ghost

Bam-Rod has the Inoue superfight there waiting for him anytime he wants but he's waiting for Inoue to collect his pension

It's certain that Chocolatito will be in the hall of fame, I have the impression on the other hand that Estrada's reign in 112 lbs and I'm not even talking about the career of Carlos Cuadras / Srisaket Sor Rungvisai will be underestimated over the years.

A bit like today with Katsuya Onizuka and Hugo Fidel Cázares.

Or is he waiting to face a Seiya Tsutsumi who has taken on too many wars like Fernando Daniel Martinez?

It's funny that Jesse Rodriguez woke up for the unification after the ultra-tough and dangerous war that was Fernando Daniel Martinez's second fight against Ioka.

Fighting at Japanese level vs fellow Japanese brothers and just fighting with the bushido style in general vs anyone will put countless miles on your odometer

    Yes, he's a scavenger.
